Today (March 21) will be bright or sunny with isolated showers at first.
That's according to Met Éireann, which also forecasts rain in the west and southwest this morning, extending countrywide this afternoon and evening.
It will become windy later too, with high temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees.
Tonight will be wet and windy with widespread rain and gale force winds along western - and later northern - coasts.
Rain will clear eastewards followed by clear spells and scattered showers.
Winds will ease in most places overnight with lowest temperatures of 3 to 7 degrees.
